As a user experience researcher and designer, I spend a lot of time studying ethnography, design, and social interaction. I'm a firm believer in making things as accessible and inclusive as possible, and strive to imbue my work with that philosophy.
My background in cultural studies and history affords me a unique perspective to view my users' and clients' need. Not only do anthropological models fit well, but being able to look through a lens from a world away creates an entirely different frame of reference. Using those models and that frame, I'm able to create better, iterate quicker, and respond flexibly. When I'm not designing, I enjoy photography, tinkering, and playing/critiquing video games.
